This medium is recommended by the Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI) as the appropriate media for routine bacterial antibiotic susceptibility determination, with updated cut off standards for designating resistant (R) and susceptible (S) strains.
To determine the susceptibility of bacteria to Sulphonamides by the tube dilution method.
