Tween Esterase Test Agar Base is recommended for confirmation of Yersinia enterocolitica. The composition and performance criteria are in accordance with ISO10273:2017.Esterase enzyme hydrolyses Tween surfactant in the medium forming opacity around the colony.Yersinia enterocolitica shows variable esterase activity while Yersinia intermedia shows positive reaction.
Recommended for confirmation of Yersinia enterocolitica. The composition and performance criteria are in accordance with ISO 10273:2017.
