BD Venflon Pro Safety Peripheral Safety IV Cannula with Injection Port has a design based on the BD Venflon Pro cannula with the addition of a passively deployed needle tip protector.
The needle protected peripheral cannula specifically designed to reduce the risks of needle stick injury to the healthcare worker. Unique design helps eliminate unanticipated blood exposure upon needle removal.
This cannula is made of BD Vialon biomaterial which is clinically proven to reduce cannula related complications. BD Venflon Pro Safety IV Cannula has an integrated injection port and valve and snap cap. Snap Cap is the cap of the port will close with a touch instead of needing a fully manipulated closure. This reduces the risk for contamination.
BD Venflon Pro Safety IV Cannula with Injection Port is sterile, latex free, PTFE, ported, winged, and for singe use but is also BD Luer-Slip and Luer-Lock compatible.
